Canadian Arctic® Diamonds
Squitti's was the first to sell Canadian diamonds in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada.
Canadian diamonds for that beautiful piece of jewelry, be it a ring, a pendant or a set of earrings.
Canadian Arctic® Diamonds are mined & cut in Canada and laser engraved with a logo or certification number to denote their origin; most from the Ekati mines in the North West Territories; "conflict free" diamonds.
Each of these "mined in Canada" diamonds, over a fifth of a carat - .20 Carat, is accompanied by a Certificate of Origin from Canada's Northwest Territories Government, and also a Gem Scan certificate.
In addition, each diamond is "Gem printed" and registered in an international database.

Only diamonds that meet the high standards established as part of the Government of the Northwest Territories Certification Program are eligible. If a diamond doesn't meet the standard, it can not be certified. Its that simple.
The Government of the Northwest Territories tracks certified CANADIAN ARCTIC® diamonds by way of a stringent monitoring system. This monitoring system follows the diamond from the mine to the consumer - the only program in the world to do this.

The Diamond Fingerprint
A scientifically precise technology, called Gemprint, provides a proven way to positively identify a polished diamond, both at the time of purchase and after.
Every diamond has its own visual signature. It's like a fingerprint - no two are alike. Gemprint technology captures this unique fingerprint and registers the image in an international database.
The diamonds are laser inscribed on the girdle with their own unique ID number, and each diamond comes with a GEM SCAN certificate indicating the cut, color and clarity.
