INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION

A. Left side top switch - Main power switch - light on
B. Left side bottom switch - pump on /off switch - lighted the temp is not ready.

C. Right side top value - opens and closes the value for steam
D. Right side bottom switch - turns on high heat for steam - light on

1. HOW TO START UP MACHINE

1A. Remove the rear lid and fill the tank with cold (FILTERED) water, making sure the tube is in the water.
( we even suggest a simple Brita Filter - helps remove the rust and large particles at least )

1B. Make sure the machine is plugged in. DO NOT LET THE MACHINE RUN DRY !

1C. Press the Main power on/off switch, A, top left corner.

1D. Open the steam/water drain by turning the knob, C, top right side, from right to left. This is to release any air locks in the pump and turn on the pump switch, B, to pump water into the heating chamber. Turn off the pump switch, B, when water comes out of the steam value. Light on switch B will go on, and will go off when temperature of water is ready.

(anytime the unit runs dry, or after steaming, it is suggested that the air within the pump must be released by process D.)

2. HOW TO MAKE AN EXPRESS COFFEE

2A. When the light goes out, (bottom left side - B), the machine has reached the right temperature and is ready to make the coffee.

2B. Remove the filter holder from the machine and place the coffee grains, XTRA FINE, into the appropriate single or two cup filter. Do not pack the coffee but merely level it. Make certain that no coffee grinds can be found on the rim, and then fit the filter holder into the machine and tighten well. (with one hand holding the machine). Press button lower left to start pump and turn off when the required amount of coffee has been delivered.

3. STEAM DELIVERY

3A. Push on the steam button, lower left. This will make the bottom switch light go on, and wait for that light to go out as this indicates the steam is ready. . Turn the knob to release the desired steam. Place the steam into the milk to steam it, and just at the top of the milk to froth it. To froth listen for a loud"thithing" sound. This happens when the right combination of air and liquid froth. Use cold cream to make smoother and richer froth.

3B. After delivery of steam, turn off the steam button, lower right. To put water back into the chamber, turn on the pump button lower left, and keep value open until all steam is removed and water begins to come out of tube, then turn off the pump and close the value. This will ensure the pump chamber is ready to make an espresso.

4. HOT WATER DELIVERY

4A. As noted earlier, when switching on the machine power, the top left button of the machine, the bottom left light will go on, and will go off when the water is hot. When the bottom left light goes out, you can extract hot water from the spout by switching on the pump motor, bottom left button, and opening the hot water value, top right side.

5. SUGGESTIONS

5A. Fill the machine with spring water or filtered water making sure that no particles enter the water reservoir at the back.

5B. Occasionally run water through the machine to clean the system.

5C. Do not leave coffee grinds in the machine after each use.

5D. Clean the machine as often as possible.

5E. Do not leave the steam button on for extended periods of time.
