Nine Children
My father Arthur Squitti who was born
on Secord Street, told me that when he was a small boy Mrs. Angelina
Agostino became a mother to him. At the age of 4 Arts
mother Maria Teresa Carollo passed away during child birth, leaving my
father and four children orphans. It was during this time
that Mrs. Agostino provided the Squitti children and especially
my father with the comforts of a loving mother.
It was years later that my dad would tell my mother, that
Mrs. Agenlina Agostion was his 'real' mother.
